Steady Steps Fun Run & Festival

April 20th, 2024 – 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM

The Crossroads’ Steady Steps Fun Run and Festival is open to the whole community and is a fundraiser for Crossroads Christian School in Tyrone.  

Run or Walk the road race in the small town of Tyrone with your family and friends through the quaint campus of Operation Mobilization.  

Our Silent Auction has been combined with Tyrone’s Spring Market on Friday, April 19th, 2024 and with local crafters, artisans, and local businesses.  Food Trucks, Silent Auction, Business Vendors, and live music featuring Justin Clay and Heart for Music will all be at Shamrock park from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday night before the race on Saturday.  

Registration includes: T-shirt, Event Participant, and Goodie Bag.

Race Route:
A road course through the heart of Tyrone.  Race route is to be determined.

Weather Plan:
This event is a rain or shine event.  There will not be a makeup day if inclement weather is present.  All registration is non-refundable.

Cost Schedule:

Runners:

  • Until April 7     Registration $30 (non-refundable). 
    After April 7     Registration $20 (without a t-shirt and is non-refundable).
  •                                     

Booths:

  • We will not be taking booth registrations this year.  Please contact Tyrone Recreation Center to be included in the Spring Market.

Who It Supports

Proceeds support Crossroads Christian School. Crossroads is a covenant community nurturing the whole child to love God, love learning, and serve others.  Everything we do at CCS is filtered through this purpose. Our philosophy of education is inspired by Charlotte Mason, a prolific writer, and educator at the turn of the twentieth century.  Miss Mason believed, as we do, that education should go well beyond college prep, career prep, and standardized test prep.

At CCS, we learn through: experiencing subjects with hands-on activities, reading stories about real people instead of facts about them, exploring God’s creation, going on field trips, doing service projects, performing experiments, equipping students with tools for academic excellence and more.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 from our event as well as showcase and celebrate the great work God is doing through the students, staff and families at our school.
