Cost of Attendance

Tuition & Fee Information
  • A $250 non-refundable application fee must accompany each application for all grades.  $150 is due at the beginning of the application process, and $100 will be due once enrollment is approved.
  • Crossroads uses a simple fee structure, so tuition, curriculum fees, standard field trip fees, technology fees, and the sustaining fund fee are all included in the Cost of Attending. In the event of withdrawal prior to November 1, final fees will be calculated with full payment of curriculum fees, field trip fees, and sustaining fund fee in addition to tuition owed.  Withdrawal after November 1 will require full payment of all tuition and fees for the year.  Fees are non-refundable.
  • Tuition is payable in 10 equal monthly installments on the 1st (August ’24 – May ’25).
  • Any payment that is received after the 5th of each month will be assessed a $30.00 late fee.
  • Returned checks will be assessed a $50 fee.
  • There is an additional charge of $50 for curriculum fees if admitted after July 1st of the upcoming school year.
  • Standard field trip fees are included in the Cost of Attendance. Any additional costs will be paid as trips are scheduled.
  • Grades 6 through 8 include an overnight field trip. Each of these trips is designed to be part of the curriculum and is strongly recommended. Field trip destinations are subject to change to meet the objectives of our current curriculum.
  • Grades 5 through 8 incur an additional technology fee of $50 per student, per year for the use of Chromebooks.
  • Chromebooks are not provided through the school, and it is the responsibility of the family to obtain one.
  • Technology fee covers Google Classroom account and Go Guardian software.
  • CCS limits enrollment to ensure a low student-teacher ratio.
Bridge After School Program

The Bridge Program is designed to provide activities for Kindergarten through 2nd grade students who are ready for a full day of learning. The longer school day allows more time for Charlotte Mason activities like handicrafts, nature study, free play, stories, and other worthwhile pursuits. The students will receive daily reading and math facts practice, have time to play, have fun with peers, and enjoy the wonder of discovery and hands-on learning. The Bridge Program is not a tutoring program.

The program serves as a bridge for students in 3 distinct ways:  Schedule, Development, School to Home.

Schedule:
The program is designed to save parents time as a “bridge” from early dismissal in grades K-2 to the 2:45 pick up time for students in grades 3rd-8th.

Development:
The program is a “bridge” between early childhood (lower elementary) and later childhood (upper elementary) to help students develop good habits with homework and reading while preserving the sanctity of childhood with free play, hands-on activities, and lots of fun.

School to Home:
The program is a “bridge” between school and home to provide a bit of structure and support for homework to preserve precious time at home with parents to focus on evening activities.   Not all homework will be completed during Bridge.

Cost for the Bridge Program is $550 a semester.  It meets on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 12:30pm to 2:45pm.

FAQs

What is a covenant school?

Crossroads is a covenant school and thus requires both parents to be born-again believers in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. They should also be members in good standing of an evangelical, Bible-believing Church.

What grades are offered and what are the hours?

Crossroads Christian School holds classes for grades K-8.

Kindergarten – Monday – Thursday 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Grades 1, 2 – Monday – Wednesday 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM, Thursday 8:30 AM – 2:45 PM  Parents teach Enrichment classes from 12:30 PM – 2:45 PM on Thursdays.

Grades 3-8 – Monday – Thursday 8:30 AM – 2:45 PM

All grades – Friday – Mandatory Home School Day , Field Trips and planned activities occur on some Fridays.

What Is The First Step To Submit An Application?

To begin the application process, please contact Cindy Ward, Enrollment Coordinator, at 770.487.0677 or admissions@ccsadmin.org.  All parents of applicants are required to view a video on our school philosophy (on the explore page of our website) and to read the book For The Children’s Sake (by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay) before submitting an application.

When Can We Apply?

Applications are accepted for admission throughout the year, provided there is availability in the requested grade. For fall admission we encourage early application as the process is quite thorough and may take several weeks to complete.  Applications fees are non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.

Do you require academic testing prior to applying?

Students applying for grades 1-8 will be scheduled for grade readiness testing once the application is complete provided there are openings in the requested grade. Crossroads reserves the right to deny admissions to any child if their ability, behavior or emotional development indicated they would not be best served by our school.

What are the requirements for kindergarten?

Age considerations for Kindergarten require that a child be five years old by September 1st.  Students must complete developmental readiness testing as part of the application process.

Can I visit a class in session?

Please email Cindy Ward, Admissions Coordinator, at admissions@ccsadmin.org or give us a call at 770.487.0622 to arrange a visit during school hours.
