Resources Are Available
CCS recognizes that financing a private school education is a significant commitment for families. We are dedicated to assisting families who value CCS’s Christ-centered education but need financial aid.
A limited amount of financial assistance is available to qualifying applicants.
Most of our financial aid is provided through contributions to our student financial aid organization, Apogee. Through this program, Georgia taxpayers can redirect Georgia income tax dollars to eligible Georgia private schools. Apogee awards are available to families who qualify. In addition to Apogee aid, funds from the general budget may be available for financial aid.
Applying for Financial Aid
CCS employs a service called the School and Student Services (SSS) through which to process applications. This service helps consider the many factors that go into determining the level of aid we should award a family. It also helps evaluate everyone’s application in an unbiased, objective manner.
The online application process, which requires a $60 non-refundable application fee per household, can be found here:

The deadline for completing financial aid applications, along with submitting all supporting documentation, is no later than 28 April. All requested supporting documents must be submitted before an application will be considered.
In-progress applications will not be reviewed.
Tuition assistance is awarded based on financial need and the availability of funds and is not guaranteed. An approval or denial email notification will be sent to all applicants by 30 May.
Any applications, along with all supporting documentation, submitted to SSS after 28 April maybe considered, but the majority of financial aid funds will have already been awarded.

Steps to apply for financial aid:
1. Complete the SSS Financial Aid application by 28 April.
2. Submit previous year tax forms and all other supporting documents to SSS by 28 April.
3. Notify the admission office and treasurer when SSS has verified the information as complete.

Discounts
Crossroads offers special family discounts for those with more than one child. This can make the cost of having multiple children at the same school a more feasible option. We also offer ministry discounts to those in full time ministry.
Giving
Our desire is to have financial aid available to all families with financial need. To supplement Apogee aid, Crossroads Christian School welcomes donations of any amount to our general fund. Based on the overall budget, the board determines how much will be allocated for financial aid.
